WJU men's basketball team prepares to wrap-up regular season

The men's basketball team (8-18) at Wheeling Jesuit University will wrap-up regular season play this weekend. The team has won six of their last seven games and hopes to continue this momentum going into their last two games as well as the conference tournament.

The Cardinals will face Urbana University tonight, Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the McDonough Center. They will finish regular season play this Saturday, Mar. 2, against West Liberty University at 4 p.m. in the McDonough Center. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens (65 years and older).

After Saturday's game, the Cardinals will await to find out their ranking for the Mountain East Conference (MEC) tournament which is set to begin next Wednesday, March 6. All games -- first round, quarterfinals, semifinals and the championship -- will be played at WesBanco Arena in downtown Wheeling.
