Wheeling Jesuit University art students will have their works on display starting Thursday, March 9 as part of the annual Spring All-Student Art Exhibition.

The Fine Arts Department will host an opening reception at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 9 in the Art Gallery located in Kirby Hall. The students' art can be viewed through April 4. A closing reception will be held, Tuesday, April 4 starting at noon.

The exhibition provides WJU students the opportunity to share original and innovative artwork that were completed during their time at WJU -- whether as a class assignment or on their own. A variety of art in various media will be shown.

Visual art submissions for Wheeling Jesuit's annual Student Research and Scholarship Symposium will be exhibited in conjunction with the Spring All-Student Art Exhibition.

Students will be available to discuss their work during both public receptions.

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday noon to 5 p.m. and by appointment throughout the exhibition dates. The gallery is closed during university breaks. The exhibit is sponsored by WJU's Department of Fine Art and the Arts Council.
