Curriculum

The following course sequence is the preferred matriculation through the Exercise Science Program. This is for two purposes:

  1. Students will complete their general education "core" requirements prior to their senior year to focus on the program requirements and clinical experience their final year.
  2. Students who enter into the exercise science program at Wheeling Jesuit University will be eligible to apply for the professional Athletic Training Graduate Degree Program during their third year, or 6 semesters, in the program as long as they have completed their general education "core" requirements and meet the required pre-requisites set forth by the Athletic Training Program. This would allow the student to seamlessly transition from the Exercise Science Program to the Athletic Training Program and graduate with both the Exercise Science Undergraduate degree and Athletic Training Graduate degree.
