Patrick A. Plunkett

Professor Plunkett is a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, having spent 20+ years in various locations first as a navigator in the F-111, then on the staff, and finally teaching (6 years) at the USAF Academy. He has been at WJU since February of 1998 in the Computer Science (now Information Sciences) Department. He teaches almost all courses offered at WJU. Mr. Plunkett is married with two children.

Presented "Learning Mathematical Functions Through "Musication"" at the Appalachian College Association Technology Summit, Oct 2002. This described the software product I developed during my summer research project at WVU, wherein a user types in a math function and sees it graphed on the screen.

Presented "Device Sharing Among ACA Institutions Using the Sense of Touch in Human-Computer Interactions" as part of a team of presenters from Alderson Broaddus, Davis and Elkins, and WJU at the Appalachian College Association Technology Summit, Oct 2001 . This was a presentation of the results of the summer research project I participated in at Alderson Broaddus College in the summer of 2001.
